I live at a harbor town that serves hundreds of ships a day. Brandy works at the local bar and I see her once in a while. I gave her a silver chain with a locket with my name to remember.

I used to tell her stories of my work at sea and she would just stare at me intently. It was almost like she was experiencing the sea as I told it.

But Brandy is a fine girl and good wife she would be but honestly my life and love is the sea.
