Default I need cat help! Please! What do you do if a cat continuously poops on the

floor and such? Alright. My dad is complaining that my cat pees on his clothes and poops on the floor. He gave me one last chance to solve this problem before my baby is booted out of our lives. His litter box was down stairs in the laundry room. i moved it up to the bathroom. And made sure he knew it was in there. i also cleaned it out and put fresh litter in the box. but he just pooped downstairs where he used to. i heard a suggestion of tinfoil once, but where he poops is right under the stairs in frount of the garage door. So i can't put any there...any other suggestion? please help! and fast. next time he poops or pees on something other than litter, he's gone. :c :c :c
he is neutered but ill suggest the urinary tract infection idea. thank you.

Definitely get him checked over by the vet and I would place another litter box in the laundry room. Some cats like to have one litter tray for peeing in and another for pooing. I would suggest to your dad that he puts his clothes away or keeps his bedroom door closed, if he has nothing to pee on, he may use the litter tray. Good luck and I hope you manage to solve the problem, xx

Try supplying him with another litter box. If there is a specific area where he is eliminating inappropriately, place one of the boxes there. Also, you may want to have him checked for a urinary tract infection. These can sometimes be painful & cats associate the pain with the litter box, which makes them avoid it.
Is your cat neutered? If not, that may also be part of the problem.
Make sure all the areas where he has soiled have been thoroughly cleaned. Baking soda works well to get rid of odors in carpets. Try to restrict his access to the places where he is soiling.
