Default Is it okay to not throw up even if you've had a lot to drink?

Okay i've drank a lot before, but everyone tells me their stories of throwing up and blacking out. I've never had any of these things happen. Except i did throw up on purpose once to get rid of a stomach ache after drinking. Am i just not drinking enough(not that i want to throw up or anything) or what?

It just shows you can hang! That you have a high tolerance for alcohol. Take it as a good thing, you don't WANT to throw up! But be careful or your liver will really get messed up.

Your body usually throws up naturally just before you get alcohol posioning it's not a good thing but it may prevent you from getting your stomach pumped.

yeah, you throw up because your body rejects it. if your body's able to metabolize the alcohol, you'll be okay. throwing up all you drank and drinking a lot of water Is a good way to avoid a hangover, though.

"Am i just not drinking enough... or what?"
basically. it seems like your body can tolerate the amount of alcohol you usually consume. people throw up because their bodies reject the alcohol and black out (i think) because they're probably dehydrated.

i guess you could try just mixing all sorts of liquors in one night, having like seven shots of each. that would probably make you barf haha

Maybe your stomach has high tolerance for alcohol now. How long have you been drinking?

throwing up is the bodies reaction to too much toxins in your system (hence the bucketload of alcohol =P) and does generally make you feel better

I personally have never blacked out, and i dont intend to any time soon.

my advice: keep drinking harder alcohol! lol

Honey, be happy you aren't puking. I've gotten trashed before and I have never blacked out or thrown up. Some people just respond to liquor differently, I guess.
