PF

My son has been very gassy lately. I notice he is all the time swallowing air. If he sucks his paci, and when hes really mad crying. So I try burping him in all kinds of ways. He never burps. It winds up passing thru him, making him uncomfortable and me unable to sleep.
Also, after every feeding and atleast one during, I burp him. The mid-feeding burp is great. The after-feeding burp not so great. If he doesn't burp in the first 2-3 min, he wont burp. I can sit him up on his tummy, lay him in my lap patting, and just pat is back.
The minute I set him down, he's spitting up. Also, when he is gassy, and trying to pass his gas...the pressure makes him spit up.

What can I do to better burb him and hopefully help him be less gassy?
