| Just ordered 5kg of LIVE ROCK for my 70 litre marine (saltwater) fish tank, will that be enough to cycle? I will be having one anemone and 2 clown fish... |

| dont listen to this eve,she got the standard measurement all wrong.2.2lbs is 1kg.70litre is like so insignificant,so small the amount,u need about 1.85kg is more than enough. |

| U need about 3 more kg of Liverock... 8kg is about 18 lbs... 70 liter is about 18 gallons.. Rule is 1-1.5lb of liver rock per gallon... |

| that's about a 18 us gallon tank the amount of rock is about 2.2 pounds which you ordered it's recommended to have at least 1-1 1/2 pounds per gallon so the perfect amount would be actually about 18 - 27 pounds which is 36-54 kilos of liverock it will be enough to start the tank on cycling if you would get cured liverock in the ammount you should get, your tank will overjump the cycling process, and will be basically instantly cycled hope that explanation made sense |
