PF

Last night I went over to my girlfriend's apt. and her and her of age friends were drinking I really didnt think anything of it because I didn't realize she was such a lightweight. after she only had 2 glasses she was on the floor crying and laughing and just being a stupid drunk person. When I saw this it clicked in my head that she really shouldn't be drinking and that it could affect her job because she had to go in 6 hours later. I feel that her drinking is really a bad thing for her to be doing and I know where shes getting it from (her of age friends). I really want her to stop because she is my everything and I care to much about her to lose her to alcohol like ive lost several of my friends who are alcoholics now and their lives are pretty much ruined because of it.

plz any help is nice here I just dont wanna lose her thanx.

Tell her alcohol the things alcohol can do. Especially if she starts early... it's bad for her health, she can ruin her liver. Whatever, it's her lost if she doesn't want to quit. Just tell her that you care about her and you really want her to stop. If she cares about you, she'll stop. If she doesn't stop, she doesn't care about you.

well isn't that why you like her in the first place?

but oh well, my advice for you is that, you need to get her to believe you are thinking for her instead of just some paranoid boyfriend
people who do crazy things dont think they are crazy bad habits are sorta the same

maybe drink with her or video tape her after shes drunk let her know what shes actually doing to herself

give her some space, let she make her decisions herself.....

Sounds like she is having fun... I don't think you should worry about it yet, however if it comes to her drinking a number of large bottles in a few hours then you have something to worry about. Its ok to drink once in while just not regularly or too often. My husband has a few glasses every month or two as for me less than my husband does.

Firstly its great that you worry about your gf drinking. I think the best approach would be to say to the other of age people that it's wrong and illegal to give an underage person any alcohol. If this doesn't work then say it to your gf and say u r worried about her getting drunk & doing something she may regret or not even remember. If this doesn't work either then tape her while she is crying and on the floor next time and show it to her the next day while she has a hangover still. During hangover it's easier to feel guilty. you cant help her, till she admits she has a proplem, i know i was there at one time, dont give up on her.

dude, the best thing to do is talk to her about it, or video her when shes drunk and show her the video when she is sober... she'l surely be embarresed.

maybe th problem isnt alcohol, but the amount she consumes (even though sh is a lightweight, she could drink slower, or drink drinks with a less alcohol level)

tell her how u feel when she is sober, don't push it though. if she wants to drink she will whether she is with u or not
