that not the drink to order? My girlfriend rolled her eyes and said that it wasn't a sexy drink and no guy was going to look at me or talk to me with that kind of drink in my hand. I like what you guys consider girly drinks too but I was in the mood for a beer is all. Is that wrong?

i would think guys prefer a girl who can sit down and have a beer! i've never seen anyone look negatively on the drink someone ordered. you're friend is just thinking too much!

I think that makes you more appealing. It tells me that you are an easy-going girl that is not stuck up. I would rather see you with a bottle of beer than an apple martini!
Besides, what guy would not like to see you at the end of a bar taking a pull off a longneck??

I love a girl that will drink a beer in a bottle or a can, there is nothing wrong with it, when I see a women drinking a beer it lets me know that she is down to earth.

I can't speak for my whole gender, but I'm actually more attracted to that than if you had a "girly" drink. I'm a bit of a beer snob myself, and as such it suggests I can relate to you a bit more than if you're drinking a girly drink. Also, it shows you're confident enough to have a beer while out and not worry if it's attractive or not. I may not be the norm, but a girl drinking a beer while out is like a girl that can drive a stick shift... hot.

Who cares what they think? If you want to drink a beer, drink a beer. If you want a fruity drink, drink that. I would tell your friend she's crazy....Plus if a guy won't come over to you because your holding a beer...Pretty lame. I know you said ? for the guys but I had to give my opinion....sorry.

It shouldn't matter; however, you should always look into what they have on draft and get that in a glass cup.

wow that's a bit over the top. listen if a guy judges you on the drink you have then he's not the right one lol do you really want to live your life by what other people may think of you or do you want to be yourself and find a guy that will like you for the person you are inside and out.

next time you ask for a drink or just a beer ask them for a specific beer like budweiser, corona, or budlight or sutmhin...not a bottled beer...but yeah your doing okay..keep going!!lolz
